NASA chose SpaceX to go to Europe

NASA chose SpaceX to go to Europe. With a frozen ocean more than twice the size of all oceans on Earth, the moon of Jupiter has all it takes to host life. The Europa Clipper mission will begin in October 2024 and it will be one of Elon Musk's rockets, the Falcon Heavy, to carry the orbiter around the satellite. The vehicle will make an elliptical path, diving from time to time among the ice of the celestial body to collect precious data. The orbiter will conduct a detailed investigation of Jupiter's satellite. It will use a series of sophisticated scientific instruments to give us some more answers on the possibility that this moon could host life. The main objectives of the mission are to photograph the surface in high definition, determine its composition, look for signs of geological activity, measure the thickness of surface ice, search for underground lakes and determine the depth and salinity of the satellite's ocean.
